It was designed by the Italian design icon Gae Aulenti for Fontana Arte. The table is inspired by an industrial trolley which was used to transport glass pieces in the factory. Aulenti replaced the wooden support with a glass plate to create an iconic piece of Italian design.
The table has a glass top, equipped with 4 black industrial rubber wheels.
