David Åberg is seen as an established mid-career contemporary artist like other prominent artists such as Carl Hammoud, Astrid Svangren, Katarina Axelsson, Johan J.Nordqvist, and Oscar Furbacken. He got noticed in 2006 when his work was verified by Guinness World Records to be the world’s largest painting done by a lone artist.
