A luxury swivel chair from 1950 – 1960 designed by Michel Cadestin. This chair is the predecessor of the ‘Karate’ lounge chair. A fabric-covered foam structure with matching seat cushions. Mounted on swivel base with functioning retrieval mechanism (turns back on its own), with veneer and decorative ledge. The chair has a turning mechanism produced by Seng Chicago, the frame producer of early Herman Miller Eames chairs.
