The ‘Sindbad’ is a very comfortable timeless sofa designed by the famous Vico Magistretti in 1980 for Cassina. Developed from the idea of placing a horse blanket over an upholstered frame, seen in England in the beautiful colors of English stables. It resembles a blanket casually thrown over a sofa, which incidentally loses none of the softness and reliability that comes with such a familiar piece of furniture. Ironic detachment and a penchant for understatement allow the idea behind the project to be translated into the project seemingly effortlessly, almost like an elegant gesture.
The cover can be easily removed for cleaning
